Cat love is forever T-Shirt

This artwork is a celebration of the love and the special bond between cats and their owners. In particular, it’s a way to celebrate the life of Bob the street cat who passed away probably on 15^th June 2020 and whose story has passionate millions of people around the world.

It’s a story of unconditional love showing how love for a pet can save a life.

It all started in 2007 when James Bowen met Bob during his battle with drug addiction. He found the cat abandoned and injured and he decided to look after him.

He began taking the ginger cat with him when busking or selling The Big Issue in London.

Bowen eventually wrote a book about their relationship which became a smash hit and was made into a film, featuring Bob, in 2016.

A Street Cat Named Bob: And How He Saved My Life was published in 2012, and there have since been five further books released in more than forty different languages.

From James Bowen’s words:

” Bob saved my life. It’s as simple as that. He gave me so much more than companionship. With him at my side, I found a direction and purpose that I’d been missing.”

” The success we achieved together through our books and films was miraculous. He’s met thousands of people and touched millions of lives. “There’s never been a cat like him. And never will again.”

Bob, who is thought to have been 14 years old, had gone missing from Bowen’s home two days earlier. They found him deceased half a mile from home on the afternoon of Monday, 15th June 2020.

He said: “I can’t describe the grief I feel, I am utterly bereft. I feel like the light has gone out in my life. I will never forget him.”
